What the @#$% is wrong with HTTPS

From one day to the other our HTTPS stopped working, and no clue what’s wrong. Dailed back the security on our Unifi Dream Machine, re-installed NGINX and LetsEncrypt, but it all failed to fix the problem. In the end the solution turned out te be to restore the factory settings on the Dream Machine and configure it again.

Probably all the tinkering we did with all the great security features messed up the config somehow . . .

It took us a lot of time discussing with the guys from Lets Encrypt, reading through lots of posts about similar problems, while all this time the solution was so close 🙂
